If you were tempted by yesterday's airfares but didn't bite you should check prices on kayak.com today. Many airlines have launched their own sales to compete with AirTran across most of the US.

Here's one for anyone wishing to grab the cheap 1-way Alaska cruises that are still on offer, or who wants to fly to Anchorage to create a do-it-yourself adventure:
