Travel By Bus

If you travel alone or in pairs, consider leaving the car at home so you can relax while someone else drives, probably save some money, and be kinder to the environment.

$66 -- Whistler R/T Bus & Gondola Pkg
Includes R/T Greyhound bus ticket and a gondola sightseeing pass ($40 value). Mountain Bike pkgs also offered.

$39 R/T -- Whistler, Bus Only
Greyhound bus between Vancouver and Whistler w/ advance purchase. Be sure to reserve your seat so you don't have to line up early just to get on the bus. Greyhound regular tickets are really just vouchers and don't guarantee your seat on a specific bus, it's first-come-first-served unless you pay an extra $5 for a reservation. Trip takes 2.5 hours from Vancouver's bus terminal to Whistler Village.

$98 R/T -- Whistler Shuttle from Vancouver
Alternatively, Pacific Coach Lines and Perimeter Bus also provide bus service between Vancouver (airport and downtown) and Whistler. Door-to-door service for hotels in both cities, which Greyhound doesn't provide, but it costs more than twice as much for the service. Same basic trip time as Greyhound (2.5 hours, city to city) but could be longer with lots of stops.

$75 R/T -- Seattle Bus Connection
4 departures daily from Vancouver and Seattle train stations, with designated pick-up and drop-off points in between. Schedules allow for trips in as little as 3 hours and 5 minutes, dependent on border traffic.

$74 R/T -- Seattle Bus Quick Shuttle
5-hour trip from Vancouver to downtown Seattle, but also offers stops at Bellingham airport ($49 R/T), Tulalip outlet mall and casino, and the Seattle airport ($99 R/T). Wifi available on most coaches.
