If you have Aeroplan miles that will expire before you can use them, consider donating them today to Engineers Without Borders and have your donation doubled by Aeroplan! You don't get a tax receipt for donated miles, but if you're not going to use them then why not give them away? The matching program is only valid for today, but you can donate any day of the year. In fact, I did this just last week with US Airways miles that I won't use. It's something to consider every time you get one of those email notices about miles that will expire soon.
